International Chess Camp ” ICS 2018 “
Croatia, Crikvenica, 27 – 30 August 2018
Garry Kasparov will participate in the camp!
The camp will be lead by Alexander Beliavsky with his assistants.
In the 1982-84 World Chess Championship cycle, Beliavsky qualified for the Candidates Tournament once, losing to eventual winner Garry Kasparov in the quarterfinals of the 1983 Candidates matchs.
He is a four-time champion of the Soviet Union.
He seconded Garry Kasparov, Alexander Morozevich and Vachier-Lagrav.
Lectures and trainings will be held every day from 10:00 to 12:30 and from 18:00 to 19:30.
On Monday, August 27th, the camp will join Garry Kasparov
Nigel Short will play a simul with the camp participants on 29 August at 18:00 at the Park Hotel.
Registrations are until 25 August
Entry fee is 80€, for those under 18 it’s 60€.

LOCATION
In Crikvenica, in the Old School, is Garry Kasparov Adriatic Foundation Chess academy. One of its regular activities are chess camps.
